The Emerge Kick-Off Meeting has achieved remarkable success! Our inaugural conference in collaboration with The Freight Summit & NorthStar Forwarders Network was a triumph, boasting participation from over 370 delegates spanning the globe.

This conference holds a distinctive significance, bringing together specialized forwarders who share a deep passion and vested interest in Africa. Undoubtedly, it became a vibrant celebration of camaraderie and the inception of enduring friendships. This memorable occasion has etched an unforgettable memory in the minds of all attendees, leaving behind an enduring impression that will be cherished for times to come!

The first day of our conference marked the official launch of Emerge – The African Logistics Alliance. Melvin Xavier, Director & Co-Founder of Emerge, took the stage to present a comprehensive overview of the network's developments and notable milestones. Among the highlights was the astounding growth of our community to 62 members since its inception.

It was then followed by Community Open Mic with our founding members coming up on stage to introduce themselves and their companies.

Our esteemed Silver Sponsor, Mr. Fardeen Malbarwala from Galaxy Freight (India), also took center stage to showcase their company and share valuable insights on India-Africa trade.

To wrap up the day, the delegates enjoyed meeting old friends and making new ones over cocktails at our Opening Mixer with North Star Forwarders Network.

At the second day of our conference, our delegates proudly showed up with their country’s traditional attire displaying their rich cultures at the joint welcome cocktail with The Freight Summit & North Star.

In addition to our popular social events, it's the in-person meetings that truly stand out at the Emerge Kick-Off Meet.
